The Nexen Tire Cup 3 Cushion Tournament, which marks its second anniversary, began with the preliminary round in the metropolitan area.

The preliminary round for the Seoul metropolitan area of the "2nd Nexen Tire Cup 3 Cushion Tournament" hosted by Busan Gyeongnam Broadcasting Corporation (KNN) was held at the Noble Carom Club Guri Branch and SM Cusco Park (Gunja-dong, Seoul) in Guri, Gyeonggi-do, on the weekend of the 27th.

A total of 60 teams participated in the preliminary round in the Seoul metropolitan area, and three teams from Bridge (Kim Nam-hyung and Kim Dong-jin), GOAT (Song Bum-seok, Yoon Joon-hee) and Dangdak (Kim Jong-ha and Lim Dong-min) will advance to the finals after beating the 20:1 competition ratio. Bridge passed the preliminary round at the Noble Carom Club Guri branch (20 teams) and at SM Cusco Park (40 teams) where GOAT and Dangdak participated.

The preliminary round will be held in the order of Daejeon (May 11), Daegu (May 18), and Busan (May 24-25).

According to organizers, 319 teams participated last year, and 600 teams are expected to participate this year.

The 32 teams that passed the preliminary rounds will play the final round from June 7-8 at an open hall on the fifth floor of the KNN in Haeundae-gu, Busan. The official table for the final round is a chevilot.

The total prize money for this tournament, which will be held in a Scotch double, is 31.8 million won, including 10 million won for the championship and 5 million won for the runner-up. 안전놀이터
